Here’s everything in our Genshin Impact Emilie build guide:
What’s the best Genshin Impact Emilie build?
Emilie is a five-star character who uses the dendro element and a polearm weapon.
Best weapon | Lumidouce Elegy |
Weapon substitutes | Calamity Queller, Prospector’s Drill |
Best artifact set | Unfinished Reverie |
Main stats | Sands – Attack Goblet – Dendro damage bonus Circlet – Crit rate/damage |
Sub stats | Attack, crit rate, crit damage |
The best build for Emilie includes the Lumidouce Elegy polearm and a full set of Unfinished Reverie artifacts, making sure to include attack stats and a dendro damage-bonus piece, too.
Emilie’s kit focuses on allowing dendro reactions to happen, specifically burning, by deploying a Lumidouce Case onto the field, so you want to pair her with a pyro DPS and perhaps another pyro teammate to make sure you can pop off plenty of burn reactions – though we know that off-field pyro options are limited.
What are the best Emilie weapons?
The best weapon for Emilie overall is her signature polearm, Lumidouce Elegy. You can get this on the weapon banner while she has her own rate-up. Outside of this, you can use the Calamity Queller to massively boost her attack, or some great four-star options to add to her stats.
Lumidouce Elegy | Stat: Crit rate Skill: Emilie’s attack increases by 15%. After she triggers burning on an opponent or deals dendro damage to burning opponents, the damage dealt increases by 18%. This effect lasts for eight seconds and can stack twice. When Emilie has two stacks, or when the duration gets refreshed at two stacks, she restores 12 energy. Energy can be restored this way once every 12 seconds. The two effects can trigger even when she is off-field | Weapon banner |
Calamity Queller | Stat: Attack Skill: Emilie gains a 12% elemental damage bonus, and obtains Consummation for 20 seconds after using her elemental skill. This causes her attack to increase per second, which can stack six times. When she is not on the field, the attack increase doubles | Weapon banner |
Prospector’s Drill | Stat: Attack Skill: When Emilie is healed, she gains a Unity Symbol that lasts for 30 seconds. She can hold three Symbols at once. When using her elemental skill or burst, she consumes the Symbols and gains the Struggle effect for ten seconds. Each Symbol she consumes gives an attack and elemental damage bonus. The Struggle effect can trigger once every 15 seconds, and Emilie can gain Symbols when not on the field | Weapon banner |
Missive Windspear | Stat: Attack Skill: Within ten seconds of Emilie triggering an elemental reaction, her attack increases by 12%, and her elemental mastery increases by 48% | Event reward |
What are the best Emilie artifacts?
Emilie benefits the most from a four-piece set of Unfinished Reverie artifacts to boost her damage to burning opponents. You can also mix and match a set of elemental skill-boosting pieces with a dendro damage-boost set, too.
A key stat to focus on for Emilie is her attack, as her passive skill and C6 (if you’re going for that) add a really big damage boost based on her total attack.
Unfinished Reverie | Two pieces: Increases attack Four pieces: After leaving combat for three seconds, the damage dealt by Emilie increases by 50%. In combat, if there are no burning opponents nearby for six seconds or more, the damage bonus decreases 10% per second until it hits 0%. When a burning opponent exists, the damage bonus increases by 10% until reaching 50%. This triggers even when Emilie is off-field | Obtain from the Faded Theater domain in Fontaine |
Deepwood Memories | Two pieces: Dendro damage bonus Four pieces: When Emilie’s elemental skills or burst hits an opponent, their dendro resistance decreases by 30%, lasting for eight seconds. This triggers even when Emilie isn’t your active party member |
