Are bear Pokémon your favorite types of ‘mon? Then do we have a list for you, friend! We’ve collected all the furry, fuzzy Pokémon of the bear variety and compiled them in one place. However, we’re afraid to say Snorlax doesn’t make the cut here. We just don’t think it’s a bear, so please accept our apologies if you think otherwise. Spinda also doesn’t count because it’s a red panda, not a bear, despite the obvious confusion.
We’ve also pulled together all the best bear games for you ursine fans! If you need more Pokémon information, here’s all you need to know about fire Pokémon weaknesses, ice Pokémon weaknesses, and how to evolve Applin and Inkay to keep your Pokédex filled with essential info.
Here’s our list of the best bear Pokémon!
Kubfu
Introduced in the Isle of Armor expansion of Sword and Shield, Kubfu is an upright bear cub with a grouchy expression. It takes you on a whimsical adventure around the isle. This pure fighting-type Pokémon looks like it’s wearing traditional fighting gear, perfect for practicing kung fu!
Urshifu
If you’ve nurtured your Kubfu enough, it can evolve into an Urshifu! There are two types: Single Strike and Rapid Strike. The type you get depends on the scroll you present in the Isle of Armor expansion. The main difference is their fighting stance and secondary type – Single Strike is dark-type, while Rapid Strike is water-type.
Stufful
Cute little Stufful is known for its surprising strength given its size! It evolves into Bewear, and prefers to be left alone, disliking the company of strangers. This Pokémon is a normal and fighting dual type, found in the Alola region.
Bewear
Bewear might look cute, but don’t be fooled – it’s a formidable Pokémon! Found in the lush forests of Alola, its hugs are strong enough to break bones. With its dual type of normal and fighting, Bewear is an excellent teammate thanks to its impressive strength.
Pancham
Pancham adds a panda to our collection of bear Pokémon! In classic Pokémon fashion, it’s a small cub that evolves into a powerful form. Young Panchams look up to Pangoro, mimicking its behavior in the wild.
Pangoro
Pangoro is known as the Daunting Pokémon and resides deep in the jungles of Kalos. It evolves from Pancham and is no longer just a cute friend; it’s a powerful fighting/dark-type Pokémon ready to unleash a flurry of moves!
Cubchoo
Cubchoo features polar bears in the Pokémon franchise! With its frozen drippy nose, Cubchoo roams icy biomes in games after Pokémon Black and White. It uses its frosty snot as materials for its moves and even wipes it on people it dislikes!
